The role also plays a key part in shaping AI-enabled product experiences and leveraging AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of the product design lifecycle.

Your Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end product design across MSCI Private Assets solutions, from discovery and ideation through delivery, iteration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive UX consistency and design system standards across products, ensuring scalable interaction patterns and a cohesive user experience.
  • Design intuitive and transparent user experiences for AI-powered features, including analytics, insights, and decision-support workflows.
  • Leverage AI-assisted design tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and execution across the design lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Program, and Research teams to define requirements, establish priorities, and translate complex financial and technical concepts into elegant, user-centered solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality design artifacts including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, prototypes, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Manage multiple initiatives in parallel, working proactively and decisively to meet fast-moving timelines.
  • Champion user-centered design, accessibility, and usability best practices while balancing business, technical, and regulatory considerations.
  • Act as a senior design leader within the Private Assets UX team, bringing creativity, strong judgment, and assertiveness to cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience applying user-centered design methodologies to complex, data-rich, or enterprise software products.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end product design and influence outcomes at a platform or portfolio level.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and design systems; experience with Figma Make and other AI-enabled design tools is strongly preferred.
  • Experience designing or supporting AI-driven product features and workflows is highly desirable.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, visual design excellence, problem-solving skills, and impact on shipped products.
  • Experience working in an Agile product development environment.
  • Financial services, investment management, analytics, or adjacent domain knowledge is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Creative, proactive, and assertive mindset with the ability to influence, move quickly, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
