The Real Estate Sales Specialist will play a key role in driving new business, expansion opportunities, and renewals for MSCI’s Real Estate solutions across the Americas. This role partners closely with Relationship Managers and broader commercial teams to bring deep domain expertise, deliver high-quality client engagements, and accelerate commercial outcomes across the real estate ecosystem.
Lead technical and consultative sales activities—including discovery, product demonstrations, value articulation, and proposal development—for MSCI’s Real Estate benchmarks, RCA data, and analytics.
Support Relationship Managers in identifying, qualifying, and advancing pipeline opportunities across asset owners, asset managers, consultants, and insurers.
Deliver expert guidance on real estate performance measurement, index methodologies, market data, and portfolio analytics to help clients understand MSCI’s value proposition.
Tailor solution pitches to client workflows and business challenges, ensuring alignment with their investment, research, risk, or transaction processes.
Strengthen account coverage by expanding engagement with mid-tier and high-potential accounts that require deeper subject-matter support.
Partner with Product Management and Research to bring client insights back into the product roadmap and commercial strategy.
Support RFPs, detailed due diligence requests, and competitive positioning across the sales cycle.
Contribute to training and enablement of internal teams to elevate Real Estate product knowledge across the Americas.
Represent MSCI Real Estate at industry events, conferences, and webinars to increase visibility and pipeline development.
Technical & Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets, investment strategies, performance measurement, and portfolio analytics.
Experience with real estate benchmarks, transaction data, valuations, or private asset data solutions is a strong advantage.
Sales & Commercial Acumen
Proven ability to support complex B2B sales cycles, ideally within data, analytics, financial services, or real estate solutions.
Ability to translate product capabilities into clear value propositions tailored to client needs.
Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and contributing to revenue-generating conversations.
Communication & Relationship Skills
Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills—capable of simplifying complex concepts.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with sophisticated institutional clients.
Collaboration & Execution
Ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization, partnering with Relationship Managers, Product, Research, and Marketing.
Strong project management and follow-through skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Curiosity and continuous learning attitude toward real estate markets and client workflows.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or industry certifications (CFA, CAIA, or real estate-related) are a plus.
What we offer you
Salary range: $120,000 - $165,000 / year plus eligible for annual bonus
