The Wealth Management Sales & Business Development team drives MSCI’s growth across the advisor and wealth management ecosystem. The team partners with leading firms to integrate MSCI’s analytics, portfolio construction tools, and risk management solutions into advisor workflows.
Our collective focus is on:
Business Development & Revenue Growth: Identifying and capturing new opportunities within the wealth segment, expanding MSCI’s presence across advisor channels, and driving adoption of MSCI Wealth solutions.
Advisor Engagement & Education: Building trusted relationships with wealth firms through proactive outreach
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to ensure coordinated go-to-market strategies and impactful client engagement.
Client Retention & Value Realization: Ensuring MSCI’s analytics deliver measurable value to clients, driving satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term expansion.
In this junior sales specialist / sales support role, you will directly support the team’s business development objectives by providing operational, analytical, and client engagement support. Key areas of responsibility include:
Sales Pipeline & Prospecting Support
Drive new account penetration through prospect research, qualification, and meeting coordination.
Assist with pre-sales activities including campaign management, opportunity tracking, and follow-up.
Market Intelligence & Data Analysis
Use Salesforce and internal databases to conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and client segmentation to inform sales strategy.
Support campaign tracking and performance reporting to measure key sales and marketing metrics.
Advisor & Client Engagement
Participate in client meetings and advisor discussions, providing logistical and content support.
Initiate outreach to prospective and existing clients to share product updates and educational content.
Cross-Team Coordination
Partner with Product and Marketing teams to align messaging, prepare materials, and execute advisor engagement campaigns.
Coordinate between sales and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless process management and data accuracy.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the sales organization can scale effectively—bridging operational support with proactive engagement to accelerate revenue growth and client adoption.
Strong Communication & Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to engage confidently with advisors and internal teams, delivering clear and professional communication.
Analytical & Organizational Strength: Skilled in managing data, identifying opportunities, and supporting sales execution through structured processes.
Proficiency with CRM Systems: Experience with Salesforce or similar tools to track opportunities, campaigns, and engagement metrics.
Collaborative Mindset: Works effectively across teams to align sales efforts with product and marketing initiatives.
Curiosity & Drive to Learn: Brings energy, adaptability, and a growth mindset to master MSCI’s product suite and contribute to business success.
Attention to Detail & Initiative: Demonstrates ownership and accountability in managing multiple priorities, ensuring high-quality execution in all deliverables.
