Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI is seeking a highly motivated Vice President of Climate Product Management to support the development and growth of our Physical Risk, Geospatial Asset Intelligence, and Nature Solutions product suite. This role sits within MSCI’s Climate Product Management team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping shape MSCI’s next generation of Climate and Nature-related products—working across research, data, engineering, and client coverage teams to translate complex science and data into actionable solutions for investors.

We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and enjoys juggling diverse topics across climate science, geospatial analytics, and sustainable finance. The ideal candidate brings both strategic insight and hands-on execution skills, with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of climate and nature-related risks.

Your Key Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing
  • Support the development, enhancement, and launch of Climate and Nature-related products, focusing on physical risk, geospatial data, and nature dependencies and impacts.

  • Collaborate with sales, research, data, and technology teams to define product requirements and align project deliverables with business objectives and client needs.

  • Prepare and review product materials, including marketing collateral, training content, FAQs, and documentation for internal and external audiences.

  • Support client-facing teams by responding to product queries, assisting with RFPs, and contributing to client communications and presentations.

  • Represent MSCI at industry events and conferences, gathering feedback and insights to inform product improvements.

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts during product releases and testing, ensuring readiness across internal stakeholders.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Finance, Economics, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in climate, nature, or geospatial product management, sustainable finance, or related data analytics.

  • Strong understanding of physical risk, nature and geospatial data, modeling, and frameworks (e.g., TNFD, SBTN).

  • Excellent communication skills, able to synthesize complex technical topics for diverse audiences.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Can-do attitude with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Out-of-the-box thinker who thrives under pressure and enjoys working across a wide range of topics in a single day.

  • Passion for sustainability, data-driven innovation, and helping investors navigate climate and nature-related challenges.
