Our offices in India all play an integral role in MSCI’s business, hosting teams from each of MSCI’s main functions. The spaces are designed to accomodate all working styles, foster collaboration and enable our people to perform at their very best. Mumbai
Home to over 1200 employees, our Mumbai office is MSCI's largest location. As such, most of our core functions are represented here: from Technology and Data Operations teams to Sales, Finance, Research and HR teams. The office is located in Nesco IT Park on Western Expressway, in close proximity to public transport and direct connectivity to the highway, thus accessible with shorter commute times. Located in a LEED Platinum certified building, it provides state of the art facilities to help our people reach their full potential. This includes a mix of open spaces and private zones, where employees can choose their preferred work environment based on their tasks and preferences. The mesmerizing view from the office toward the expressway and the Aarey forest is also beautiful – especially during monsoons! The various local Employee Resource Groups and freetime groups make sure that everyone feels welcome and supported, and organize activities, social gatherings and professional events all year round.
The Mumbai office was redesigned in 2023, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to providing unique, inviting spaces in our offices that foster belonging, support collaboration, and connect employees and clients to our culture.

Pune
As a Center of Excellence for software engineering, our Pune office is mostly comprised of Technology and Data Operations teams working on our Analytics, Index and ESG solutions, as well as on Application- and Program Management. The office is nestled in the heart of the bustling eastern suburb of Hadapsar, one of the most vibrant business districts of the city. It occupies the 8th floor of the Futura building – with an amazing view from the top! The office space is equipped with wellness rooms, cafeteria, mother’s room and event space, and ample parking is available for MSCI employees.
In December 2023, many members of the Pune office participated in the ’PossAbilities Stepathon’, organized by MSCI’s local All Abilities chapter.

Coimbatore
Our Coimbatore office is specialized in hosting Data Operations teams, and plays a critical role in data collection activities for all MSCI products and services. Located in a prime spot of the city, the office is easy to access by public transport and a is a short commute away to the central bus station. Amenities in the office include a relax room, collaborative spaces, breakout zones, games for blowing of steam, and a rooftop cafeteria offering breakfast, meals and snacks. Local chapters of MSCI's Employee Resource Groups, such as Pride, All Abilities, Climate Action Network and Women's Leadership Forum regularly organize events for the employees, and the Sports and Events committees make sure that there's always some activities happening to bring the community together!

Bengaluru
Our Bengaluru office is located in the bustling business district of Whitefield, a major IT hub in "The Silicon Valley of India". The office has good access to public transport, with shopping centers and restaurants nearby. The teams represented in the office mostly include Data Operations, ESG Technology, ESG Data Operations, and HR technology teams. The office space is designed with vibrant color zones and themes, featuring multiple meeting rooms and custom-built workstations. These workstations are adjustable for height, catering to all working preferences. Additionally, the office has unique features like interactive workspaces, collaboration rooms, and social hubs that encourage creativity and teamwork. A wide range of amenities are available, such as a food court with dishes from all over India, chai points and vending machines for snacks.
