Role Category:

Your Team Responsibilities

Join MSCI’s Private Assets Product team and help shape the Private Assets Diligence Platform (formerly Vantager), an AI-native platform that helps institutional investors run faster, more consistent diligence on private funds and managers. The platform turns GP documents and data into structured, decision-ready insight, and it is a core part of MSCI’s private assets offering.

You will work closely with senior product leadership, Engineering, Coverage and Marketing to turn client needs into shipped features. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role on a live product with active client deployments, offering direct exposure to product strategy, client engagement and go-to-market.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for defined areas of the platform, from discovery through launch and ongoing enhancement
  • Translate LP diligence workflows and client feedback into clear requirements, specifications and prioritized backlogs
  • Partner with Engineering on day-to-day delivery, including scoping, sequencing, acceptance criteria and release readiness
  • Work with Coverage on client trials, proofs of concept and onboarding, capturing feedback and turning it into product improvements
  • Evaluate AI capabilities (LLMs, agentic workflows, document extraction) and define how they are applied, measured and improved in the product
  • Analyze product usage and quality metrics to understand client behavior, surface opportunities and risks, and inform prioritization
  • Support integration of the platform with the broader MSCI ecosystem, including data, entitlements and authentication
  • Support pricing, packaging and sales campaign planning
  • Work with Marketing and Program Management on go-to-market planning, product collateral, demo materials and client-facing documentation
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis across private markets diligence and AI-enabled workflow tools
  • Prepare reporting and analysis for senior management business reviews
  • Build prototypes with AI tools to bring product ideas to life quickly

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in product management (or a closely related role) with domain expertise in private markets, financial services or applied AI
  • Familiarity with LP diligence, fund investing or the institutional allocator ecosystem
  • Experience writing specifications, mapping processes and working within an agile development lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based products or tools; working knowledge of concepts such as retrieval, extraction, evaluation and agentic workflows
  • Comfortable working with data to define product strategy, measure usage and produce management reporting
  • Ability to run client conversations and translate feedback into product decisions
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong bias toward execution and shipping
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science or a related field (MBA, CFA or CAIA preferred)
  • Energetic, self-motivated and intellectually curious, with a growth mindset and a passion for innovation
