Your TeamYou’ll be part of MSCI’s Analytics Sales team — a collaborative and high-performing group responsible for helping clients adopt MSCI’s industry-leading risk and performance analytics solutions. The team works closely with asset managers, asset owners, hedge funds, and consultants across the Americas to deliver insights that improve investment outcomes.
As a Junior Sales Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of MSCI’s Analytics business. You’ll work alongside senior sales professionals to engage prospective and existing clients, identify new business opportunities, and help clients understand how MSCI’s analytics tools can enhance their investment processes.
This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in financial markets or B2B sales who is eager to build a long-term career in investment analytics and client engagement.
What You’ll DoPartner with senior sales executives to support all stages of the sales process, from prospecting through closing and onboarding.
Conduct market research and identify potential clients across the Americas region.
Prepare tailored client presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs.
Support client meetings and product demonstrations by developing a strong understanding of MSCI’s Analytics offerings, including risk models, performance attribution, and portfolio construction tools.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and assist with pipeline reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams — including product management, client coverage, and marketing — to ensure client needs are met effectively.
Analyze client portfolios and usage data to identify opportunities for expansion and increased adoption.
1–2 years of experience in financial services, analytics, investment research, or B2B sales.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Strong understanding or interest in quantitative investment analytics, portfolio management, and risk management concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a client-centric mindset.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
High motivation to learn, collaborate, and develop a career in a global organization.
