As an Index Sales Specialist, you will drive the growth of MSCI’s Index business across Asset Managers, Wealth Managers and Banks in the French-speaking region of Switzerland.
Working in a consultative sales environment, you will build a deep understanding of clients’ investment processes and connect them with MSCI’s indexes, data and insights to support their decision-making. You will manage and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities to expand our client base.
This is a highly visible, office-based role in Zurich, where you will operate in a targeted, performance-driven environment and engage with senior stakeholders across the investment community.
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients across the region
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients
Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
Position MSCI index solutions and research in a consultative manner
Lead client engagements including presentations, product demonstrations and commercial discussions
Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth
Respond to detailed client inquiries on index methodologies and products
Capture and share client feedback to inform product development and innovation
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pipeline activity
Experience in sales within asset management, banking or financial services
Understanding of investment processes across asset managers and wealth managers
Knowledge of European financial markets and industry trends
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English and French
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint)
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree or CFA is a plus)
2–4 years of relevant experience in a client-facing or sales role

Our Zurich office is in the Zurich-West district, just a minute away from the train station and 5 minutes from the city center by train. This location hosts our Climate Risk Center for ESG and Climate researchers, engineers and analysts.
