The Real Estate Inside Sales Associate is a member of the Sales team whose primary responsibility is to assist and support Real Estate Sales Specialists in their efforts covering institutional investors, operators, developers, brokerages, and advisory firms.
This role supports the sales process by helping drive new client penetration, responding to client inquiries, facilitating prospecting efforts, and educating clients and prospects on the firm’s real estate products and solutions.
The position requires a strong relationship builder who can coordinate effectively across internal teams and engage confidently with external clients to help drive revenue growth.
The individual will work closely with Client Service, Marketing, Research, Product, Legal, and Finance to ensure smooth execution across the sales cycle.
Assist Sales Specialists in executing sales strategy across institutional real estate clients.
Drive new account penetration through prospecting, qualification, and outreach.
Initiate opportunities, schedule meetings, and support pipeline development.
Maintain a small individual revenue target aligned with Sales Specialist goals.
Identify client needs related to investment analysis, market intelligence, portfolio strategy, capital deployment, or asset-level insights.
Present relevant solutions and product capabilities to support upselling and cross-selling efforts.
Help uncover expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Coordinate internal sales processes including pricing approvals, contracts, and onboarding workflows.
Support RFP responses, product demos, and proposal preparation.
Track and manage activity within CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
Respond to detailed client questions about product functionality, data coverage, methodologies, and use cases.
Provide sample data, reports, or analysis to support client due diligence.
Participate in client and prospect discussions regarding product updates or enhancements.
Conduct prospect research, account mapping, and competitive intelligence.
Partner with Marketing to execute outreach campaigns and track key metrics.
Support product conversion initiatives through targeted client engagement.
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
Strong organizational and process-oriented mindset.
High attention to detail.
Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
Experience with cold calling and prospecting preferred.
Strong Excel skills.
Understanding of institutional real estate investors, operators, brokerages, and advisory firms, including their revenue models and regulatory considerations.
