We are seeking an experienced sales professional to support MSCI’s commercial activities in Taiwan, with a focus on expanding the adoption of MSCI’s Index solutions. The Taiwan Coverage team sits within the Greater China Coverage organization and is responsible for strengthening client relationships and driving revenue growth across institutional clients.
Based in Taipei, this role plays a key part in engaging clients, executing sales initiatives, and identifying new business opportunities within the Taiwan market. You will collaborate closely with senior coverage leaders and global functional partners to deliver a seamless, solutions-oriented client experience.
We are also open to considering candidates based in Hong Kong to cover the Taiwan market.
Manage and deepen relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, asset owners, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.
Drive commercial activities for MSCI’s Index solutions, including new business development and renewals.
Execute go-to-market initiatives and support targeted sales campaigns to grow MSCI’s footprint in Taiwan.
Develop client proposals, deliver product presentations, and support competitive pitches in partnership with internal subject matter experts.
Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective follow-through on opportunities.
Collaborate with global and regional teams across Sales, Client Service, Marketing, Research, and Product Management to deliver integrated client engagement.
Conduct market research and client analysis to identify key trends and business opportunities.
Represent MSCI in client meetings, industry events, and other external engagements.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFA designation is an advantage.
7–10 years of experience in financial services, ideally with direct exposure to index solutions, market data, or investment products.
Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management.
Strong understanding of index methodologies, investment processes, and the institutional client ecosystem.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented, proactive, and highly client-focused.
Fluency in Mandarin and English required.
