Your Team Responsibilities

We're looking for a motivated, analytical individual with a passion for global investing, capital markets, and the asset management industry. As an Inside Sales Associate at MSCI, you’ll support our Sales team and clients across EMEA in expanding adoption of MSCI’s industry-leading data and solutions. This role offers strong growth opportunities within our Client Coverage team.

Your Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Support Sales Specialists in driving revenue growth and expanding client engagement.
  • Manage and prioritize requests, coordinating with Legal, Operations, and Finance for seamless execution.
  • Qualify inbound sales leads and assist in pre-sales activities, including account reviews and proposal development.
  • Prepare and deliver index data, coordinating across teams to meet client needs.

Client Engagement & Deal Management

  • Lead the sales cycle for custom index solutions: assess client needs, confirm feasibility, coordinate pricing, and manage contracts.
  • Identify unlicensed product usage and contribute to licensing opportunities.
  • Respond to client inquiries about MSCI products and methodologies.

Campaign & Project Execution

  • Support sales campaigns through market research, revenue analysis, and client outreach.
  • Inform clients about new product developments and enhancements.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Improve sales processes through creative problem solving and process innovation.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across global teams.
  • Act as a technical resource to improve the overall sales cycle and client experience.

Professionalism & Growth

  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and discretion, especially with confidential data.
  • Stay current on industry trends and evolving client needs.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values learning and continuous improvement.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 2–5 years' experience in finance or related fields
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Economics, or Finance; CFA/FRM a plus
  • Strong interest in markets and investment products
  • Fluent in English; German/French a plus
  • Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
