Your Team Responsibilities

Our internship provides exposure and training across the MSCI business with an emphasis on your development. You will be constantly learning and well connected to our senior leaders. Your internship begins with an MSCI Orientation which gives you a perfect foundation for the weeks ahead as you learn about our culture, values, and business model. Your learning continues ‘on-the-desk’ as you work through live projects and gain first-hand experience of how all teams at MSCI play a role in creating solutions for our clients. You will have a network of talented and approachable colleagues who will support you through every stage of the program.

Your Key Responsibilities

As an intern supporting the MSCI Sustainability Institute, you will work as a marketing and content intern, supporting various initiatives. Your diverse responsibilities will include managing our social media, executing digital activations across web and video content, and assisting with both hosted events and industry event participation. You will also create engaging content in different formats tailored to our target segments, which include investors, academics, policymakers, and NGOs. This content will help communicate our value proposition, increase brand awareness, and drive traffic to our website.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable writing clear and concise copy, proficient in using PowerPoint and Excel, familiar with LinkedIn, and possess creative ideas for driving engagement with our content. Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment are also essential.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

• Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate qualification, e.g., business, marketing, comms or a related field.
• Passionate about sustainability and climate investing, with an interest in evolving trends.
• Intellectual curiosity with a passion for learning.
• Strong communication and written skills to effectively convey key messaging.
• Navigate hurdles with entrepreneurial spirit and an innovative mindset.
• High attention to detail and good team player
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work under time constraints
