MSCI’s Australia and New Zealand business is looking to hire a commercially driven and results oriented individual. This sales position is aimed at expanding and increasing the usage of our industry-leading suite of products across Index, ESG and Climate solutions to support our clients’ investment decisions. This role requires the ability to build and develop strong client relationships, initiate and drive sales and hit revenue targets.
MSCI works with a range of institutional clients and previous sales experience with one or more client segments including Asset Managers or Wealth platforms is desired. Previous sales experience in Index and ESG related business opportunities focusing on data sales and distribution is preferred.

Good understanding of the financial services landscape including active and passive investment strategies
Ability to communicate effectively across the organization globally with colleagues across different functions
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
Understanding of and in-depth experience dealing with major financial institutions, especially institutional investors, asset managers, banks in Australia
Strong understanding of financial markets
Minimum of 10 years sales experience and minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services – management and leadership experience would be desired
Demonstrated success in both individual achievement as well as teamwork
