APAC Private Assets Consultant Senior Associate

Your Team Responsibilities

Private assets are playing a growing role in institutional portfolios. That means investors need reliable insights throughout the investment process. At MSCI, we offer an in-depth look at private capital portfolios and investments, with analytics, benchmarking and investment decision support that allows clients to view funds by vintage, asset class, geography and a range of other metrics.

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and service-oriented individual to join our Consultant team. This role will be based in Singpaore.

This Consultant role will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships across the MSCI Private Capital suite of products and assisting the Sales team with new opportunities. Travel may be required within the designated sales territory to meet with clients/prospects regarding new products as well as enhancements to existing products. The role entails maintaining and upselling existing clients, and being a subject matter expert on the suite of products. Consultants leverage their in-depth knowledge of the investment management process to identify needs and opportunities.

This role is highly visible, with involvement in all aspects of an account, including senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, new sales and ongoing relationship management. In this role, individuals will also work very closely with Sales Management, Client Service, Product Management, and Sales Operations. Compensation and title will be commensurate with experience

Your Key Responsibilities

• Help Sales team achieve targeted quarterly and annual new net sales goals from clients
• Develop strategic sales/client retention plan for allocated sales territory
• Solution pitches for clients across your coverage territory
• High-level contact with clients/prospects and other major industry participants
• Address client inquiries regarding products and solutions
• Maintain accurate records regarding account visits, client conversations, finalized contracts
• Work seamlessly with other departments (Client Services, Research, Product Management, Billing) to ensure that all client requests and inquiries are managed appropriately
• Proactively solicit client feedback regarding new initiatives and future product development
• Provide feedback from clients to Marketing, Sales, Research and Product Development groups

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

• A track record of client satisfaction
• Strong financial knowledge and experience
• Superior time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
• Understanding of and in-depth experience dealing with major financial institutions, especially institutional investors
• Strong understanding of financial markets and the investment process
• Strong demonstrated institutional sales experience which includes having worked in financial services
• Excellence in both individual achievement as well as teamwork with a diverse set of departments
• Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA or Masters Degree preferred. CFA, FRM, CAIA, MFA a plus
• Excellence in spoken and written English is required. Any other Asian languages would be advantageous.
