Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI, Inc. seeks Senior Associate, Technology in Norman, OK, to review how the current system is affected by the requirements and specifications, and check for missing parts, whether they can be tested, and if they match the intended use cases.

Your Key Responsibilities

Work with Product and Development teams to develop and review test plans for coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness. Analyze our applications to identify key areas for automation. Create, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests for workflow, web services, and user interfaces. Analyze defects found during testing to identify root causes, document and communicate these findings for further action. Design and operate a suite of tests used in validating the performance and stability of platform release candidates. Develop and extend automated test scripts, testing infrastructure, and all test related documentation. Perform test case management activities and track test requirement coverage. Monitor/create performance tests that run within performance testing environment and collaborate closely with developer teams to identify issues and key areas for improvement and optimization. Provide production support to the Operations and Application Support teams. Work with Release Engineers to ensure smooth delivery of applications to clients. Troubleshoot performance-related issues, identifying underlying problematic components, and communicating with other development teams to resolve issues. Coding in Java of functional customer requirements and bug fixes.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience: creating and maintaining Azure DevOps Pipelines that run unit and functional tests; customizing pipelines to support complex build and deployment workflows; leading end-to-end Quality Assurance and version release process, including creation of version release pipelines, oversight of version builds, and execution of comprehensive performance testing on generated artifacts; contributing to the development of Aggregation product by writing and enhancing Java code; utilizing aggregation applications and utilizing understanding of the finance domain and processes; implementing new features, addressing coding tickets, and adding customer-defined workflow functionality; and testing and debugging complex software service environments. In the alternative, the business will accept a master’s degree in one of the above-mentioned fields and one (1) year of experience performing the above-mentioned skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $80,000 and $95,300 per year. 40 hours per week.
