Through a mix of virtual and in-person events, colleagues were able to deepen their skills, explore new possibilities, and engage directly with teams and experts shaping the future of our business. Exploring the power and potential of AI
The Career Weeks featured interactive workshops led by colleagues from our Engineering and Data Operations teams. These sessions showcased real-world applications of AI across MSCI, with the teams sharing how AI is transforming their daily work, from automating manual tasks to uncovering new insights, and demonstrated the growing suite of AI tools available to employees.
More than just technical demonstrations, these sessions opened up a conversation about how all of us regardless of role can use AI to solve problems, boost productivity, and stay ahead of the curve.
Inside look: career pathways across functions
Some of the sessions were function-focused events that revealed what it’s like to work in MSCI's different teams, from Sales & Relationship Management to Sustainability & Climate Engineering.
These Function Junction events gave an inside look into their day-to-day work of our teams, as well as the skills that make team members successful, and the opportunities that exist within their functions. These sessions were particularly valuable for colleagues thinking about a lateral move, providing insights into the work of various teams.
Personalized career conversations
Each career journey is unique, and sometimes the best support comes in a one-on-one conversation. As part of the Career Weeks our local recruiters offered Career Explorer sessions where colleagues could discuss internal mobility opportunities, ask questions, and get tailored advice about how to take the next step in their career.
Learning from external professionals
Another highlight of the program was a special session hosted by an external finance organization, focusing on developments in the private markets space. The session gave participants a macro perspective on evolving trends and introduced them to potential paths for upskilling and certification, underscoring the importance of staying connected to the broader financial ecosystem.
