MSCI, Inc. seeks Sr. Associate, Real Estate Consultant in New York, NY, to serve as clients' trusted advisor.
Project manage client relationships with specific clients and industry groups. Create client business plans, identify opportunities and forecast cancellations. Demonstrate success against those business plans. Broaden and deepen clients' usage of MSCI services and the range of client and prospect relationships. Conduct presentations on MSCI real estate results and client training. Stay aware of the latest industry trends, client needs, and MSCI real estate product development roadmap. Be up to date with Product Management training & give clients feedback to the Product Management team. Contribute to the development and execution of strategic business and global initiatives. Own projects directed at improving clients' experience and realizing efficiency gains. Attend client service training and comply with the guidance provided. Actively support campaigns and collaborate with other departments. Contribute to MSCI real estate Client Service training documents. Maintain accurate Salesforce management system records for your client (opportunities, cases, calls, visits, conversations, emails). Actively contribute to the cross regional initiatives such as MSCI real estate Global Account Management. Contribute to sales. Maximize renewal rates and generating leads. Monitor and communicate clients existing level of take up, identifying gaps. Comply with MSCI real estate renewal & upsell procedures. Provide support during sales meetings.
SALARY & WORK SCHEDULE: $128,600 to $130,000/year, 40 hrs/wk
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: working in direct sales including achieving target revenue goals; generating tailored presentations for clients on portfolio performance and benchmark results; analyzing real estate market trends on sectors and markets across the U.S. to produce analysis for clients; fostering client relationships including providing market research and due diligence, tailored benchmarks, asset management and attribution analysis; serving as industry expert for asset managers, asset owners and pension funds on products, services and solutions; utilizing experience with regulatory requirements in the real estate sector that influence data reporting and benchmarking; and utilizing experience with benchmark methodologies, including performance and operational metrics specific to real estate. 10% travel required nationally and internationally. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
