Position Overview:

MSCI ESG Research, part of MSCI Inc, is seeking to expand its global ESG Research Analyst team.  The research analyst  is expected to have a strong interest in general ESG trends and specific knowledge about the dominant ESG issues for selected industries.  The analyst will investigate and assess core ESG risks faced by the industries and evaluate performance along the key benchmarks for large publicly traded companies globally.

Please note this is a temporary position and expected to last nine months. 

Scope of Responsibility /Expectation:

Analyze and prepare research report for allocated Japanese companies.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • Basic knowledge and interests in Environment, Social and Governance area.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills both in English and Japanese
  • Minimum of Bachelors' degree required

Desired Experience:

Knowledge of financial analysis and experience in research work are both plus, but not must.
